Yonghwi Kim joined Dankook University in 2026. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Yonsei University, where he earned his Ph.D. in EE/CS as a member of the Intelligent Networking Lab. He also served as a visiting postdoctoral researcher at HKUST in the iComAI Lab and has industry experience in cellular and military wireless technologies.

His research focuses on intelligent wireless systems and low-complexity signal processing, with interests in integrated sensing and communication, AI-RAN, and prototype-driven development of practical 6G systems.
